(...and after....)

(Our CII, Jasmine Mdm & Pei En Mdm. They have helped all of us alot during the 9 days RC, never failed to motivate and encourage us, pushing and poking us from the back.. )

(Stylio right? Showing off our proud rank... )

(Bravo with our course manager....and our

course coordinator Soon Keng sir... want to fight is it? haha)

( Look at Joel... *(from his blog: The Otahs are addictive =)))

( Thinking and reflecting of their actions in course... what is Jeremy doing? don't look funny leh...)

(Joel, Dzafir, Jeremy and I together with our 2 mdms...

and the rest of us with mdms... arh... don't cheat my feelings leh....)

(me & lizzie...no wings yet...)

( 24 Bravo Squad mates =) and 2 great instructors....
~ When I say I am from d07 Bravo, the sky is all that i can see... Pang)

(Ooops.. I have forget to add in the part during my last post... So the story goes...

Feeling hyper, we pestered Jasmine Mdm and Pei En Mdm to join our squad for the march back to room 53 for COA. pEI eN mdm refused (aww..sad)(and because she is in no 3 and we are not...)! But Jasmine Mdm agreed to... hurray! And our I/C personal? Of course is HO la...Till Caine Sir comes along and we pestered him to be the I/C...

It seems all right in the first place.. We were all marching very happily, though our timing was very chui la.. (that why jasmine mdm toke over the timing). Then, at the admin block, Pua Wei sir asked: " Who the hell is your I/C?) (Coz we are not supposed to be so loud at the admin block ma) Classic scene.. you know why? Caine sir was our I/C and Jasmine Mdm is our timer... lol sia...

~D07 Bravo Ninjia Turtles rulez!~

(P.S. Bravo gathering at Chong Pang.. dots.. when i just live near-by Chong Pang, I had to take train all the way to Boon Keng to go to that Chong Pang.. Yet, we have an enjoyable time though...)

~Yeah! POP is over and we are now CI! (haha)~

The day could have ended on a higher note had not been the impeding rain that douse out the spirit a little. Oh how fair was heaven to us!

We reported at the drill shed on 7.30a.m. It was a tiring affair for me as i stayed up late to do my uniform... We practiced the DO7 formation till it was very nice; we practiced our rifle drills and our footdrills for the parade, yet because of the rain we had to cancel all this.....

Imagine all our disappointment when we were told that the rain (oops, it is not the rain that matters but the lightning that was observed). A simple affair was held in the Harmony Hall...Nonetheless, we still pass out as a batch, as 73rd batch of CI! Yeah... All the hard work that we put in did not go down to drain at all! Yeah

As Miss Chong simply puts it...we are going to be busy for the rest of the years liao...it also meant having more responsibility towards the unit and the corps itself...

(A song which the CII presented during the campfire... a very touching and meaningful song.. n here's the lyrics =) )

Learn to fly-- A1

When you feel the dream is over
Feel the world is on your shoulders
And you lost the strength to carry on
Even though the walls may crumble
And you find you always stumble through
Remember never surrender to the dark
Cuz if you turn another page
You will see thats not the way
The story has to end

And if you need to find a way back
Feel that you're on the wrong track
Give it time, you will learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You will be stronger with each day that you cry
Then youll learn to fly

In your head, so many questions
The truth is your procession
The answer lies within your heart (within your heart)
You will see the doors are open
If you only dare to hope
And you will have a way back to fight
The fears that kept you down
Cuz if you turn another page
You will see thats not the way
The story has to end

And if you need to find a way back
Feel that you're on the wrong track
Give it time, you will learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You will be stronger with each day that you cry
Then youll learn to fly

Looking at your situation
Theres so much that you can do
Nows the time to make your stand
This is just an observation
In the end its up to you
The futures in your hands

And if you need to find a way back
Feel that you're on the wrong track
Give it time, you will learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You will be stronger with each day that you cry
Then you will learn to fly

Give it time
You will learn to fly

~What is the day now... I feel so out of world la...~

Looking back at my 9 days RC and 4 days ATC, I have no regrets for coming to the course...

For my 9 days RC, i really have alot of fun with my squad mates Bravo and my grp instructors, Jasmine mdm and Pei En mdm. Although the RC is not an easy one, but with constant encouragement from one-another, the time seems to pass very fast! It was a going back to the basics kind of things and i have learnt really alot from my 2 instructors... Bravo roxz! I can see that the way that i teach last time is really not very zai one... I will miss jasmine mdm and her funny languages like :" super bo say" "zian la" and her " love " towards spider...

I will miss everyone in my squad who came my help all the time and motivate me on: Joel for being a funny person who will strive hard to work on whatever task that is given to him; Jeremy for his helpfulness and his timely help all the time (who always help me in the log); Jia Hao( the HO ) and Jia Sheng whose funny antics never failed to cheer us up; Russel the person who graduated from K9 BTC is a person who never failed to cheat my feelings (first is i dont love u anymore, then dont cheat my feelings, then dont friend you anymore); Desmond for sharing to us his knowledge of campcraft; Kah Wei for being the silent worker and motivator, Dzafir and * whom we love to poke fun of him during course; Derrick and Benson is also another two silent worker, esp Derrick but they all have the substance deep down!; Kang Wen for his funny timing (left, right, left right all the time and because of this we are often super auto!); qaiyuum for always being my motivator (everybody before course was like saying that he couldnt have possibly made through, but he perserved! for that, i saluate him); and Rahimi who never failed to lead us on!; Ain and azarani for always being there: zhuang yi the natural leader that make ppl look upon her; zhi junm for being my best squad mates for yrs; jolene for being the funny one; elizabeth for being funny and lame all the time ( What is the rule for butter: dont spread!); cleopatra for being there and her funny languages; jiaxin-- my boss and mas---

(sorry for being such a long one....)

I am sure that we all learn alot from each other... really looking forward to my POP!

As for the ATC at Ubin, I wouldnt say much about it...

~Little by little, one walks fast....~

Is having a hp that important? Take for today for example: I am supposed to be down for the Making day (or so it seems to me). Yet, no one tell me anything about it during the weekend... Another example? I am the last one to know about the training in the holidays (for the campcraft competition and the AOP). In short, I am always the last one to know everything, be it for work or personal stuff.

To that I can only come up with two reasons:

1) Since I don't have a hp, it is difficult to contact me (like what Chi Peng had said). Thus it is not surprising for me not to know anything.

OR

2) I eat glass for life. Thus no one cares about my existence...

I used to comfort myself with the first one. Now, I am more inclined to think that the second one as the more likely explanation...

(~I am tired. Yawns....~)

Been busy for these 3 days...going to chalet on mon, going to training on tue and the uniform collection at HTA on wed to complete the marathon.

On wed, i drag my weary body and prepare for the collection. ( I slept at 12 that night before as i need to prepare the docs required for the uniform collection. I must say that i am stunned at the no of things that they requires). I met with jun before going there and it turns out that she is also not having it better than me ( she slept at 2 because she wanted to settle some np stuffs).

At first, it didn't look as scary as what Ahmad had described. None was scolded because they were late. All was peaceful and a rather relaxed mood. Nothing else happened when we submitted our respective forms to the instructors. Then, the scoldings gradually came. It was tolerable though.

Actually it is kind of sad to see others having fun out there while yourself is not. But, what to do? I have my commitment towards the unit and i still want to see it grow. In that sense, it means that i do have to give up some things...

(erms?...)

4) EMaths 125 Qns

(Completed 103/125 =)

5) Geo

(erms....)

Actually, school reopen = exams are coming!! Stress!
(Hopes my decision to join UGC amd SC camp willl not be wrong=)

Haha....

Exams are coming soon.. which means to say i do have to make a decision between poly and jc.
Recently, i received a letter from sp, inviting to attend a talk that they organised (well that is indeed surprising, considering that i have no connection with sp!) That letter forced me to rethink about my decision though, but i think i am most likely going to jc. Why? Like what spider had said, i am not a practical person, i requires facts to drive me on. Therefore, i am better off in a jc...

Ironic isn't it? But that means to say that i have to work hard for the rest of the months! Ermzz, for that i really need some motivations to drive me on!

Mon-- EMaths& SS Paper

(Gd luck! =))

SC Camp Briefing

~Seriously, I do have a feeling of not attending after attending the briefing.`

Not that I am fickle-minded, but the planning sucks.....

What is the use of a briefing when it is just stating the obvious?

Incident no 1:

(when talking the part on Sembawang Park)

XJ: My Part A took 1 hr to trek to Sembawang Park, and you are telling me that it is 1hr to and fro journey.

(i forget what sindhu had said already, but it was something like it will take 1/2 hr_)

VP: aiya, if not just push back la...

Yea, those who have the experience of planning camp will know this theory. But the fact that the VP said something like that showed 1 thing: EXCOs are not even confident of their own planning!

The details of the event at Sembawang Park is sketchy. All we were told is that it will be like an amazing race style and there will be a fashion show at the end.

Yea, and I have 101 Qns to ask (not even touched on):

1) Who is going to stay in school to look after the belonging? If it is the logistics people, who are they? And what are they going to do in school?

2) What if there is a heavy downpour? Are the campers going to a shelter and shelter there or are they going to continue on but wearing poncho?

3) I heard that there is going to be a picture clue. If there is a heavy rain, how are you going to prevent the paper from getting wet?

4) Pending to the fashion show: Is there any theme? How long are you going to let them prepare? 1/2hr?

5) What if there is a downpour during the course of preparation/ duration of fashion show? Are you going to house them in a shelter? If yes, what shelter are we using? How far are they from the playground? Is it big enough to hold everybody? (the experience for me is that you will need at least 2 shelter).

6) How long is the treasure hunt going to be? 1 hr? What if the campers cannot finish on time? Are you going to

(i) Drag the programme
or (ii) Ask them to report back

7) There are bound to have medics for the event. But where are you going to put them? With the station or at the checkpoint?

See? Can anybody tell me the use of a briefing?

I dont even bother to bring it up because i feel that the vp is just trying to go through motion. See the reply that she gave to xj and you will understand.

And the excos are even not firm in their decision!

What makes a good leader? It is true that a leader do need to listen to his people for ideas, but when it is time to make a decision a leader is supposed 2 be firm!

Iniatially i was told 2 prepare campfire while daryl, yang qin and sim ying go out to buy stuffs. Now, it seems that i need not do so! Instead daryl and co will do campfire (and no one seems 2 bother about the food buying!)
